A New Era Of Wrestling In Essex
The dawn of a new era arrived at the Hullbridge Community Centre, as a packed crowd gathered to witness the birth of Kobra Wrestling.
In a shocking upset, Kobra Wrestling Academy student Billy Neuro secured a huge victory over “The King” RJ Singh, setting the tone for an unforgettable night.
“Big Country” Ben MacDonald issued an open challenge that was answered by Ted Sabine, The Big O, and Tommy Mercer, leading to a chaotic Fatal 4-Way contest. The match took an unexpected turn when MacDonald and Mercer brawled to the back, leaving Sabine to capitalise and pick up the victory over Big O with a decisive pinfall.
Keiron Lacey earned an impressive win against KWA standout Matt Kraven. Despite Kraven showing immense heart and determination, it wasn’t enough to overcome Lacey on this occasion.
After seven years away from in-ring competition, Kymmie A. Kiss made her long-awaited return. However, it came at a cost as she went one-on-one with the dangerous Deadly Nightshade. Kymmie displayed incredible fighting spirit but ultimately fell victim to Nightshade’s devastating choke bomb.
Next, the Kobra Wrestling coaches collided as “Unbreakable” Mark Trew faced “The Villainess” Skye Smitson. In a highly competitive and respectful contest, Trew’s growing aggression became evident. Smitson managed to secure the victory with the Smitson Effect.
Post-match, tensions escalated as Trew appeared ready to show sportsmanship before Keiron Lacey stormed the ring and attacked Smitson. Trew joined in the assault until Matt Kraven rushed in to make the save. Together, Kraven and Smitson cleared the ring, before issuing a tag team challenge for the next event: Smitson and Kraven vs. Trew and Lacey.

“The Juice” AJ Pain faced his toughest challenge yet as he went head-to-head with “The Vulture” Spike Trivet.
In a hard-hitting and emotional contest, AJ Pain proved why he is considered the heart and soul of the Kobra Wrestling Academy. Showing incredible resilience, passion, and determination, AJ endured punishment that would have stopped most competitors. Against all odds, he achieved the unthinkable by defeating Spike Trivet, earning a thunderous ovation from the Hullbridge crowd.
Closing Moments
To close the show, Skye Smitson returned to the ring to congratulate all the students who performed. The night ended on a high note as AJ Pain, Kymmie A. Kiss, Big O, Matt Kraven, and Billy Neuro celebrated together, marking a successful and memorable beginning for Kobra Wrestling.
